Deserving Happiness

Don’t you feel you deserve happiness after everything you’ve gone through?
But nobody ever said it was going to be easy. You get in trouble if you think somehow you have magic fairydust put over you when you were born and the fairy godmother said, ‘this child gets spared of any pain.’

It's quite an odd thing because it reminds me of the thoughts that were in my head last night. Questions that have no answers. It is true that life doesn't really make sense without pain. And it is also true that it's pain that brings out sides of you you never knew. But is it possible to ever really forget something that hurt deeply? Do the scars really go away? Or does it all surface at odd moments of vulnerability reminding you that nothing is real?
